About us

Founded in 1993, Sage & Co is a well established firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors based in Northwood, Middlesex.

Our current team has experience from Goldman Sachs, PwC and Hacker Young and participate actively with the ICAEW.

The firm manages a diverse portfolio of clients with responsibility for audit, preparation of accounts and taxation requirements of mainly owner managed small and medium sized enterprises. Clients that we support include UK companies (including groups), non-resident companies, UK subsidiaries of overseas groups and high net worth individuals.

Sunil Sangani
(Partner)

Sunil qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 after which he joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in their audit division. His main experience was the audit of companies quoted on FTSE 100 and corporate finance work including Stock Exchange flotations, raising of finance, business acquisitions and due diligence reports. As an audit manager, he had a specific interest in mentoring and teaching both graduates and qualified chartered accountants about the audit process. After just over 6 years he joined Hacker Young, specialising mainly in the audit of AIM Listed and family owned businesses, leaving as Principal Manager in 1993, when he established Sage & Co.

Since starting the practice, Sunil has supported many clients with tax advice on buying and selling businesses, business restructuring, obtaining bank finance, changes in UK residency status and tax investigations.

Nikhil Sangani
(Partner)

Nikhil graduated from the London School of Economics with a 1st class honours in Bsc Economics in 2010 after which he joined Goldman Sachs in their Investment Banking Division covering global Central Banks for interest rate products. After spending six and a half years at the firm and travelling to over 26 countries, he left as a Vice President in 2016. He then joined PwC in their FTSE 100 London Top Tier Audit division where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant after three years before joining Sunil at Sage & Co in September 2019.
